    Project Overview

    In the rise of diseases like HIV Aids, Hepatitus, TB , Drug Addiction PakSouls a trust organisation wanted to develop a system to help the ORWs(out reach workers) in recording their interaction with people who inject drugs or take medication. Instead of paper records that could be manipulated or mishandled, a hardware device that took biometrics of the users before handing them clean needles and medicines. The recorded interaction was saved in the database , which could be viewed on a dashboard showcasing all the cases handled within the days and drugs or instruments used or given. Enabling a clear system and ensuring the drugs reached the worthy individuals who required healthcare.

01 General Requirements

  • Gathering information from ORWs ( Out reach workers)  in collecting data of individuals in a particular area. 
  • The Client required a system which would allow them to shift from paper documentation to digitized data of drug infected individuals in a particular area of a city.
  • The system would also allow them to access data of the employees working aswell. 
  • The data involved the details of ORWs, Areas visited, Users treated, Syringes/durgs given, vaccines given, CD4 Tests ,Healthcare given etc

  • Conducted interviews with ORWs to gather insight into the requirements and work involved.
  • Went through the documentation currently being used which gave me an overview of the fields involved.
  • Creating user flows of the stakeholders involved
  • Defining the architecture
  • Maping the userflow for both the device and the dashboard
  • Defining the roles for access to device & dashboard

Based on the finalized usecases from the client. Designed the Layout of the Device.  

Design once approved was handed over to the backend team for development.
